I'm about to start my real life test, and I'm very worried about something - fashion. I work in a professional office, and I need to have at least 6 different outfits that are work-ready - one for each workday, and a set of clothing that I can use to get dirty (I work in construction, design side, and I sometimes need to do site inspections on muddy sites). Shoes I can find - but I am concerned about not choosing age-appropriate clothing (I'm going to be 30 soon). My office is pretty casual for the guys, but I'll be the first professional woman to work there (just a few receptionists at various times, some in the early 20s and some in the early 40s or older, none around 30). General dress code for guys is polo shirts & jeans. Anyone have any suggestions? Are pretty much all the suits etc available at stores [JC Penney's, Macy's, Sears] age-appropriate?
