Howdy, Ras. ^_^
As to the forums, I'm not sure. We may leave it here or we may do phpBB which would allows us to skin it better and advertise. It might up the value
considerably if potential advertisers know that people reading the comic come to the forums and see the ads, etc. Also we could relocate the fan art page to
a forum there. Ultimately, we'll see.
The chapter leap will not be a strange attachment to the calendar unless we decide to redo the calendar in flash... which could happen, but I doubt it. It
will either be above or more likely to the side above the comments area. If we do an archive link, it will come much later.
To answer the question about a generic blog site thingy, no. Erin designed it and I have had the awesome responsibility to make it work. Just so everyone
knows, I'm hardcore enough to write all of my web stuff using VIM. And it's 100% programmed by me so if there are problems... and there will be, let
me know. That said, we're still wearing hard hats around the site, so be kind.
Anyway, if you see problems or want to comment on such things, I'll be adding an email address for firstname.lastname@example.org. Also, cc in
email@example.com. I may add firstname.lastname@example.org as well but don't use it until says it's cool.

(06:59:17 PM) Friend: VIM isn't a language.
(06:59:19 PM) Friend: 'Tis an editor.

(06:59:27 PM) Me: Just found out

(06:59:41 PM) Friend: Also, look up Emacs. XD
(06:59:50 PM) Me: ???
(07:00:19 PM) Friend: If Vim is the Xbox than Emacs is the Playstation
(07:00:24 PM) Friend: Constant holy wars over which is better. XD
(07:00:28 PM) Me: XD
(07:01:26 PM) Me: emacs being obviously better, but a small $2 price tag makes
everyone use VIM
(07:01:57 PM) Me: and then emacs makes a nicer, sleek ui, and drops down to free,
and suddenly users switch faster than the flash eats cheeseburgers
