This is the first and probably last letter I'll ever write to a webcomic creator. No matter how enjoyable I find my entertainment, regardless of medium or format, I do not have the inclination to write anyone about it. However, after reading Venus Envy, from the first comic to the most recent update, I find myself strangely compelled. I do not know whether it is the art, which is exceedingly well done. It could be the writing which is superb. It may be the characters, who I find not only very well written, but written in such a way that it feels that they are not written at all but that their lives are being documented; that is to say that the characters come alive in a very real way in your comic. I could honestly see real people acting and reacting in the exact way they do. Ultimately there is something, some X-Factor that transcends all the constituant parts that forces my hand.
I thoroughly enjoy Venus Envy. I appreciate all the hard work and effort you put into making it. I know things haven't been going very well for you lately, and wanted to make sure you knew that at least one person really appreciated you, your effort, and your work.
